The team was called at 1.30 this morning by Gwent police to look for 2 males lost on Twmbarlwm above Risca. As our Incident Controller was taking the details the 2 males found the road and walked themselves off the mountain side.

Our fourth callout of the day came in to to us to help Western Beacons Mountain Search and Rescue Team with rescuing a family group who’d become stranded whilst on a river walk near Pontneddfechan. A very busy start to the New Year.
