Callout:
Shortly after 3pm today we were called out by
Gwent Police and Heddlu Dyfed Powys Police to rescue a lady walker from the ridge path above the Neuadd valley in the central Brecon Beacons. The lady had slipped on the icy path and believed to have broken her ankle.
With support from our colleagues from Brecon Mountain Rescue Team we

deployed onto the hill and with concern for the effect of severe windchill we requested helicopter support from Maritime and Coastguard Agency #StAthan who airlifted the lady to hospital.
We wish her a speedy recovery.
