CALLOUT:
This afternoon we were called out by Dyfed Powys Police requesting our help with extracting an injured caver at the entrance to the Porth Yr Ogof cave system. Fortunately our South and Mid Wales Cave Rescue Team – smwcrt colleagues were already on scene and for us, with colleagues from Western Beacons Mountain Search and Rescue Team, Brecon Mountain Rescue Team and Longtown Mountain Rescue Team it was a short distance stretcher carry to the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS ambulance at the car park.
