Our 4th incident in 4 days, it’s been a busy Easter.
Just before 19:30 we were called out by South Wales Police : Heddlu De Cymru to help search for a missing off-road biker in the forest on the mountain above Blaenrhondda, near Treorchy.
In deteriorating weather with rain turning to snow we began search planning based on the missing persons last known position. Soon after search parties deployed into their areas and with a SARDA (South Wales) search dog about to be deployed, we received message from police control that the missing gent had arrived home safe and well.
We stood down and made our way home.
