As we were journeying home this evening from today’s training and the first incident of the day ( see previous post), we were contacted by Dyfed Powys Police to search for and rescue a family lost in our waterfalls area.
Initial info suggested they were near Scwd Yr Eira waterfall but we soon established they were in the forestry near Gwaun Hepste. Fortunately they did exactly the right thing and stayed put on one of the main forestry tracks which meant we were able to quickly find them, cold, tired but uninjured. We soon reunited them with their car in the car park and we headed home to families and much needed food.
A long, busy day.
