This morning just after 10am for a gentleman who’d slipped and injured his ankle on the Pont ar Daf footpath. We helped stretcher carry him to the car park and then to hospital using our recently donated loan-4×4 (see below)
This evening just after 5pm for a gentleman who’d slipped on the summit footpath and injured his upper arm. Thanks to Maritime and Coastguard Agency helicopter #R187 from St Athan he was loaded on board and flown to hospital
Recently we were delighted to receive the loan of a second 4×4 response vehicle from Sabrehire.com and today were the first occasions where it was called into action alongside the on-loan Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team vehicle. We hugely appreciate this kind gesture from sabrehire.com while we continue to re-build our fleet since the fire devastation.
