Callout: No 7 of 2018:
This afternoon we were out supporting Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust and Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service – EMRTS Wales colleagues at BikePark Wales, Merthyr Tydfil with the evacuation of an injured mountain biker who’d come off his bike, sustaining serious head and facial injuries.
Our ambulance service colleagues applied their medical expertise we then provided evacuation expertise and equipment to safely and speedily get him to the road ambulance.
