Number 105 of 2017 was a very short interruption to our Saturday afternoon today after we were called out by Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust to assist with a mountain biker who’d taken a tumble and sustained head injuries in the Brecon Beacons.
As our Incident Controller gathered further details from control room staff, the road ambulance crew reported their arrival close enough to the gentleman to be able to deal with it. Our team members had assembled at our base and we were stood down to return home.
