Callout 102/17: We were called this evening to help two ladies who had got themselves into difficulties while out for a run. Having run from Pont Ar Daf to the top of Pen y Fan, while heading back down they missed the right turn at Bwlch Duwynt and found themselves lost in the clouds on the Neuadd ridge. Our work was made so much easier using Sarloc Rescue. This allowed us to pin point their location and focus our response. Finding them very wet and cold but evidently pleased to see us and full of laughs and gratitude for our assistance. We walked them down off the hill. Some hot chocolate and a little attention to their makeup, they were then able to drive home to tell their friends and family about their adventure. Its a wrong turn many visitors make. Once they realised their mistake, they made the call for help and then waited for us.
