Callout No 100! for the year so far.
100/2017 – The team were contacted this afternoon by South Wales Police : Heddlu De Cymru to assist in the urgent search for 85yo Laurence Brophy following concerns for his well being when contact with him had been lost after embarking on a major charity fundraising walk following the length of the Taff Trail from Cardiff to Brecon and back. Following various sightings of him by members of the public after the appeal for information issued by SWP efforts focused both in the Taf Fechan area of the Beacons and closer to Cardiff which overall covers a significant area.
Fortunately whilst MR resources were beginning their searches he was located safe and well by police officers.
