Callout: Number 98 of 2017.
Mid afternoon today we were called by Dyfed Powys Police to search for a 12 year old child who was missing in the Taff Fechan forestry near Pontsticill north of Merthyr Tydfil.
As we were responding into the area with our friends from Search&Rescue Dogs SARDA South Wales to begin the search, police HQ called our search manager with the very welcome news that the young person had been found having made his way back to the car park.
Being grateful for the successful speedy outcome we stood down and returned home.
