Callout:
This afternoon our 80th call for help of 2017 was to assist our neighbours at Brecon Mountain Rescue Team with the rescue of a male hillwalker on the Pont ar Daf footpath in the Brecon Beacons. He’d injured his ankle and unable to walk anywhere, Brecon team colleagues administered medical aid while we carried the stretcher.
Working with Western Beacons Mountain Search and Rescue & Dyfed Powys Police we carried him on the stretcher to the car park for onward transport to hospital via Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust.
We wish the gentleman a speedy recovery.
