Callout:
No. 53 of 2017, this evening we were called by Gwent Police to help locate and rescue 2 females reported lost on hillside above Abertillery. Fortunately their mobile phone signal was good and we were able to employ GPS as well as Sarloc Rescue technologies to help locate them. The two ladies did exactly the right thing by staying put after calling for help and as we were arriving into the area local police officers were able to locate both ladies safe and sound.
We stood down and returned home.
