CALLOUT 50/17: we were called this evening around 9pm to assist a young man who was trapped in a gorge near Dinas Rock. On arrival, it was clear the young man was seriously ill and in a very difficult position. Working with Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust, South Wales Police : Heddlu De Cymru, Dyfed Powys Police Western Beacons Mountain Search and Rescue Team and Brecon Mountain Rescue Team we extracted him to the roadside to be transported onto hospital. We wish him a speedy recovery
