Central Beacons were called by colleagues in Gwent Police to assist with a search and rescue of a group of hillwalkers. Team members began assembling at our base while one of our Incident Controllers gathered further info from Police HQ. It became clear that the search was in the area of our neighbours Longtown Mountain Rescue Team and after handing over all the info we returned home.
