Central Beacons along with colleagues from Brecon Mountain Rescue Team were called to the Pen y Fan area of the Brecon Beacons National Park to attend to four people who had been struck by lightening. They were evacuated to Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil by a RAF Search and Rescue Sea King helicopter.
